Anna & Ben - RHS Wisley - 29th June 2019

Where better to have your summer wedding than at a world renowned RHS Garden. I joined Anna and Ben at the stunning and truly epic RHS Wisley in the height of summer for an amazing wedding. Anna started the day in the grand setting of the Richmond Hotel, before heading off to tie the knot at St. Mathias Church in Richmond looking stunning, I’m not sure Ben knew what hit him when his Bride to be arrived! It was a beautiful service which spilled out onto the street for a classic confetti moment. We all then headed off towards RHS Wisley for what was a wonderful reception. Now, I’ve photographed in some serious heat but this was probably the most searing I’ve experienced, heading toward 40 degrees time was tricky in the gardens capturing some fabulous shots on our way (in our private golf buggy) to meet the guests in the amazing glasshouse. Drinks were very much needed so we made haste to start the festivities! The glasshouse was the prettiest setting for the evening meal and reception, it truly looked stunning. Now, I know what you’re thinking, a greenhouse in 40 degree heat! Well it was rather warm but as the sun lowered in the sky all was perfect. The main casualty of the heat was the delicious looking cake, which started slipping rapidly so we brought the cutting forward to save the day! After some seriously delicious food and a seriously funny speeches the evening dancing finally got underway and didn’t disappoint. The musical duo played a mix of some incredible classic and new tunes from all genres (they were slick!), and people danced late into the night. It was a late ending for me too, but looking back at the glasshouse all lit up with pink uplighters just finished the look off for me, what a truly awesome day! The staff at RHS Wisley were incredible, what lovely people to work with. Special thanks to Sophie and Susan for all their assistance.

Hedingham Castle - Wonderful times with wonderful company!

I'm excited to be prepping for another open day at the always beautiful Hedingham Castle on sunday. I've had the pleasure of working at the castle so much this last year or two, with some incredible couples. I thought it was a great time to share some wonderful images, it's hard not to take great shots of the castle! Thanks to all my lovely couples, I've had an absolute blast! Thanks also to the whole team @ Hedingham, they've all made working at the venue some of my favourite times in recent years, here’s to many more!

Sean & Becky - Gosfield Hall - 13th March 2019

We had a wonderful day back in March with Sean and Becky at the glorious Gosfield Hall, stunning as ever. It was an early start for Becky and her bridal party, but it was well worth it! As you can see the weather was glorious, apart from the small matter of the backlash from Hurricane Gareth! We did our absolute best to brave the wild gusts of Gareth managing a very intimate confetti moment (without throwing too high!), and a small amount of outside couple shots. Sean and Becky had hired an amazing magician. In the pursuit of great angles to capture these moments I may have seen how some of the magic is achieved…but my mouth is zipped! I’ve seen many fun weddings in my time as a photographer but this was definitely a highlight in the fun and frolics department! A huge thanks to Gosfield Hall and all their staff especially Roberta (boy does she work hard, I thought we photographers had long days!). Sean and Becky are such lovely people and the same goes for all their family and friends, here’s wishing them all the best for the future!

Ruth & Justin - Hedingham Castle - 9th February 2019

We’re off again and what a lovely way to start another year of wonderful weddings! Ruth & Justin got married at the ever Splendid Hedingham Castle. It was such a relaxed, happy day. Ruth and Justin have such an amazing family, from their four children, numerous nieces and nephews, Grandma and everything in between. Not to mention the basketball crew! The decorations were understated with touches of personality and fun, LOVE their seating plan using stolen social media photographs of all their guests…not sure the guests loved some of the images quite as much! It was an absolute pleasure to share Ruth and Justins day.

Jess & Harry - Layer Marney - 31st May 2018

Jess & Harry got married back in May at the stunning Layer Marney Tower. The ceremony was held in the beautiful church in the Layer Marney grounds. We had such a fun day, so much laughter and excitement. Having photographed Jess’ sister Katie’s wedding a couple of years ago it was great to catch up with some familiar faces, it always makes the day slightly more special! The weather was great and the colours and textures of the decor were beautiful. Both families are heavily involved and love the countryside (I lost count of how many people we lost to checking on dogs!) the decorations involved wonderful tones and stunning feathers. The images captured came out so well and it was a pleasure to share the day with the happy couple and their friends and family. Thanks to everyone at Layer Marney, they were truly splendid.

Alyce & Ashley - Hedingham Castle - 31st March 2018

Alyce and Ashley are two wonderful people and it was such a pleasure to be able to be part of their day. There was a lot of emotion for many reasons, however the overwhelming feeling was of happiness and laughter. What lovely families and friends, in such an a beautiful location at Hedingham Castle. We had a bit of ‘lucky’ rain but were so happy that it held off long enough to be able to capture some important moments outside. The decor was beautiful and the atmosphere in the marquee was stunning with full on glitter station! I’m so happy with the images we managed to capture, I know Alyce and Ashley agree! Special thanks to Sarah @ Hedingham for all your help and David Bradford for giving me your time.
